7 Easy Ways To Use Affirmations (Law of Attraction)

Affirmations are powerful tools that can help you manifest your dreams, foster positive thinking, and bring about a sense of peace and well-being. But what if you don’t quite know the best way to use them?

In this blog post, I’m going to share seven of my most favorite ways that I use positive affirmations.

That way you’ll have different options to choose from!

Create an affirmation journal.

First, create an affirmation journal where you can write down your affirmations. This will help you keep track of your progress and ensure that you are consistently taking the time to practice them every day.

I like to keep mine handy and write in it as soon as I wake up each morning.

This helps set the tone for my day and keep me focused on what I want to manifest in my life.

If you’re not a morning person, making your affirmation journal part of your nighttime routine is an excellent choice as well.

Doing so can help you unwind for the night in a healthy, calming way, positively influence your dreams, and help you manifest while you sleep!

Visualize your affirmations.

Next, engaging in mindfulness practices like visualization is especially useful when it comes to affirmative statements.

Picturing yourself as the successful, happy person you strive to be can be incredibly motivating.

Affirmations are more than just words.

If you rely only on the words you won’t get very far, I’m sorry to say!

You have to experience the emotions that you would feel if you manifested your desire.

Therefore, visualizing yourself in the middle of a successful project, or with your dream job, can be incredibly helpful.

I like doing this in the shower!

It’s become a habit of mine, so now every shower has a double purpose.

Put affirmations in places you’ll see often.

Whether it’s on the mirror, on top of your desk, or even on your refrigerator door – post reminders of uplifting messages where they’ll catch your eye throughout the day.

It’s such a refreshing practice!

One thing I’ll say about this is that you eventually become blind to it. So you do have to switch things up a bit.

After about two or three days of leaving a post-it note on my bathroom mirror, it starts to become just another piece of paper, and the power of the message slowly fades away.

So I like to take one day a week where I switch my affirmations up.

That way, each time I see it, it feels more meaningful and special.

Change up how they look and sound.

Variety is key when using affirmations! Try making some more lyrical, more direct, or simply switch up the wording to keep things fresh each day.

Sometimes I like to chant mine out loud, and other times I prefer to whisper them silently in my head.

You can even experiment with hand movements, facial expressions, and dancing if you’d like!

I find that taking the time to engage more deeply with how my affirmations sound helps me to really feel their power.

Try subliminal affirmations

If you don’t have the time or desire to practice affirmations throughout the day, I highly recommend trying subliminal affirmations.

Subliminal affirmations are simply positive messages that you can listen to while asleep or during working hours that will help shape your subconscious mind into a more powerful version of yourself.

With this method, you can reap all the benefits of affirmations without having to consciously focus on them.

There are tons of great subliminal affirmation apps and recordings available online but here is my favorite source (you can get these for free!),

I really like them because they offer a wide variety of affirmations for different goals, such as success, wealth, love, and health.

And it only takes like 12 minutes a day!

I do these when I’m washing dishes, doing laundry, and sometimes even when working out!

It’s really incredible and a total shortcut for those times when I’m not feeling like doing so much heavy lifting to manifest my goals.

Say them out loud with others.

Voice-sharing positive thoughts can be an incredibly bonding exercise (in addition to creating a broader ripple effect).

It may seem weird to do this with people you aren’t that close with, but if you have a child or a significant other, try boosting them up with positive affirmations.

Affirm their worth out loud, tell them how special they are and that they can achieve all of their dreams.

You’d be surprised how building a habit of speaking light into others will enhance your life too!

It’s really sweet and it gets everybody feeling super good and all loved up!

Set alarm text as affirmations.

Another super cool method that I’ve been doing lately is setting alarms/reminders in my phone as positive affirmations!

So a few times a day, I’ll get a notification that says something like “I’m powerful and capable of achieving my goals” or “I am worthy of love, joy, and abundance”.

It’s like a little reminder that keeps me connected to my higher self, even when I’m busy.

And it’s been really helpful in keeping me motivated and on track throughout the day.

Plus, it’s free!

I like to change it up depending on what projects, goals or challenges I have in front of me.

You can make it say whatever you want!

Go ahead and spend a few minutes and set an alarm or two for yourself!

You deserve it!

Change your folders to affirmations.

Last but not least, a little bonus that I stumbled upon a while back is to change the folders you put your apps in on your phone or on your laptop to positive affirmations!

So all your health & wellness apps could go in a folder called “I radiate health”.

All your productivity and/or money apps could go in a folder called “I am abundant”…you get the idea!

It’s a really simple way to keep positive thoughts top of mind throughout the day, and it only takes a few seconds.

Plus it looks cool too! 😉

So if you want to supercharge your affirmations practice, give this a try and see how you feel after a week.

I betcha you’ll be feeling amazing!

Good luck and have fun! 🙂

Oh yeah and by the way…

Don’t forget to grab your free subliminal affirmation mp3!

It’s a great way to bolster your affirmations practice and it also takes just seconds – so why not give it a try?

The download includes an audio track with positive affirmational statements that you can play in the background while you go about your day (or sleep!).

Plus, it’s free – so what have you got to lose?

Get yours now and jumpstart your journey toward success and fulfillment! 😉

Wishing you the best of luck!
